1. If someone invites me to an event if I can I will probably go
2. If I want to go somewhere I will probably go
3. If a person mentions an event that they are going to and says that I should go, I will probably not go because I think it’ll make me seem like the only reason I went was to see the person

That a was a stinkin’ journey I just went on to find my german professor. Really though, it like followed the whole Hero’s Journey archetype and everything. I feel like i’m a little better now for it too, so even more like the Hero’s Journey. Thanks to Mrs. Walker-Brown.
Call to adventure: my german teacher saying I needed to hand in my homework that I forgot to print.
Refusal: initially being lazy and almost not going to the library
Supernatural aid: the computer and printer
Threshold: leaving the class
Trials: finding out I didn’t email my homework to myself and having to run back to my room to email it and then go back to the library to print it out. And walking in and out of Morrison/Parker Hall over and over again almost giving up.
Helpers: Lee and Tom who I ran into and helped me
Abyss: Walking into the basement of a building I didn’t think my professor’s office would be in
Transformation: I fixed my shirt
Atonement: finding that my professor’s office was in the basement of the building I did not think she would be in and passing my homework in.
Return: coming back to my room
Happy Wednesday!
